Heh, imo this was a bad idea from anet.. I mea that you had to collect fangs to get the mask. :P

I made... well a LOT of money yesterday from bying low and seeling the fangs high. By the end everyone was wondering "Where the hell does Ermac get so many fangs???:O". xD

I didn't pre-order Factions so I wouldn't know but...Perhaps this mask is kind of like a "Tapestry Shred" from Pre. Something to use later on in the game. But I havn't seen the "specs" of it yet so I couldn't really know.

I really like the way they look. I don't see why you would think they are ugly. They're very colorful and have a nice style to them. Much better than the crappy pumpkin hat and antlers.

I'm sorry, but I have to admit I really find the way they look nice. I mean, hmm... tengu masks look a lot like tengu (check out a tengu in first person, they're not smecksy

). They're just nifty novelty items. Nothing more, nothing less.

The ugliness of the Tengu Mask is UNGODLY....can't see why you'd waste collecting fangs for em in the first place other than not being able to get your hands on one after the event, etc. At least make them look cooler or something. Definitely not for me. They do possess a more unique look than the fake-looking antlers and insanely-bright pumpkin heads.

However, I do think it looks awesome on male Ritualists. Overall though, mas ooglehness.

I've already dropped my two cents about the masks elswhere, but I'll say it again; I think they're ugly as sin.

I ended up giving around 300 fangs away to random people.

Personally I got 1 mask for 1 character and thats it for me. I missed out on the Christmas and Halloween event's... So being able to finally have something "special" from an event is really cool for me. Not terribly interested in getting a mask for other chars.

Oh, and I think the helm looks quite nifty. It has that Tengu feel and charm to it. *shrugs* I've seen worse helm's, as well as better drawn helms. I'm just happy to have 1. hehe

I was super-busy yesterday, so I never got a chance to get the tengu mask...this sucks, since I have all the other event-only items. Furthermore, I won't be getting onto to Factions until later today (can't wait), too bad everyone is going to be miles ahead of me... ><

Has this event been extended or has it finished now? The update notes say it's over.

I thought "event extended" notice on guildwars.com meant this Tengu event had been extended too, but it seems not? If so, I missed it due to work and not being able to come online much... why do an event on a workday and not let it continue into the weekend

i only got one with my female ranger...all im going to say is that i'm glad i farmed mine instead of buying a full set of fangs which i saw as high as 25k.
